| Long ago in a far off land
the Photo bug bit me. I was in the Navy (1967) and seeing so
many exotic places I knew I had to preserve the memories. After
my service time I began raising a family and like many others I
had to put aside my hobby to raise a family. Along came the
computer age and my interest began again. Being able to scan
images into a pc opened a new world. Not just in photography but
also photo restoration and digital effects. The next step
(Digital Photography) fully opened the doors to creativity. Thus
Carrington's Photography and Carrington's Imaging were created.
A 1200 sq.ft. studio was acquired and commercial shooting began.
Weddings, Corporate Photos, Models, Billboards, Restorations etc
were carried out during that time. My true love of nature
- landscape photography and of course my love of the ocean were
still calling me. I decided to close the studio and pursue my
true interests in the Arts. Thus our site here
Carrington's Photography. Besides offering nature and
landscape photos we also have Artistic effects applied to some
